When anyone takes on our system we go through a full requirements schedule and plan out how, what and when we'll deliver.
This includes data conversion - we always try to convert as much data as is available so when you are using the system from day one, users have full customer histories.
We generally use the data conversion to train on - this will help identify where data has been missed or miss-understood.
Go-Live is hopefully quite an anti-climax in that it goes smoothly and without any hitches.
We know that you'll need plenty of support the first week as there are lots of new processes to pick up.
After the first week of go-live we find support drops off dramatically and customers are always surprised come week 3 how little they need our help.
